Cofferdam & DeWatering Support

The first question to be asked of any diving project is “do we need to use Divers?” Whilst most of the time, Divers are required to help deliver the project, there is still a responsibility from Clients and Contractors to limit the amount of high risk activity being undertaken. A solution to this can be to “De-Water” a structure or asset to enable the engineering or construction works to be conducted in dry condition.

MCS Subsea regularly undertakes temporary works installation on different structures across the country. This enables projects to be completed in a dry and safe environment. When the works have been completed, temporary works can be removed and the structure put back into service.

 

By engaging with MCS Subsea during the planning stage, we can use our extensive knowledge of de watering temporary works to assist our Clients with the buildability of their Cofferdam Design. This ensures everything is in place before starting on site and has previously saved Time and Unexpected costs on projects.
